Prayer meet held for noted scribe Ranjan Gupta

  • A prayer meeting was held on Monday to commemorate the death of noted journalist and author Ranjan Gupta who died on April 27. A political scientist by training, Gupta worked with The Indian Express for several years as special correspondent.

    Author of the monograph Sikkim: The merger with India and The Indian Ocean: A political geography, Gupta was also a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and a Fellow at the Institute of International Studies, Berkeley.
