Preity says she has nothing to do with Amrohi property

Actress Preity Zinta on Thursday said she will not be inheriting any part of filmmaker Kamaal Amrohi’s property,worth a reported Rs 600 crore. “No. I don’t know from where you people (media) get all this from and then put it up,” Zinta said when asked about the reports.

The 35-year-old actress got involved in the property dispute between Amrohi’s son Shandaar and his siblings,after she accompanied him to the Khar police station to lodge a complaint. Shandaar had filed a case accusing his sister Rukhsar and her son,Waseem,of having fraudulently pledged his shares in Mahal Pictures Pvt Ltd to a company in Pune.

The filmmakers sons Shandaar,Tazdar and daughter Rukhsar,are currently engaged in a court battle regarding the property in the Bombay High Court. The actress had grabbed headlines when she took to the networking website Twitter and complained that she was made to wait in the police station for five hours.
