Actress Priyanka Chopra, who has won accolades for her performance in Barfi!, will soon be shooting for an item song in Sanjay Gupta's gangster flick Shootout At Wadala.
The actress, who has recently launched her first album In My City, will be performing a special retro song in the movie.
Director Sanjay Gupta broke the news about Priyanka's shoot for the new song Babli Badmaash Hai on Twitter: "So PRIYANKA CHOPRA it is guys! She will be performing our Smashing Retro Chart Buster - BABLI BADMAASH HAI, composed by Anu Malik."
Shootout at Wadala, which has John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpayee and Tusshar Kapoor in the lead roles, is set to release on May 1.
The movie is about the first-ever encounter registered by Mumbai police in 1982 where gangster Manya Surve was shot dead.
