All PTA teachers removed by the BJP government would be immediately re-instated and regularised when the Congress returns to power in 2013, announced former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, while talking to mediapersons here last evening. He said it was unfortunate that teachers appointed under PTA scheme had been removed without considering their credibility and qualification. He said Chief Minister P.K. Dhumal did this only because these teachers had been appointed by the Congress government. He said these teachers were appointed only in remote areas where no other teachers were willing to work.
Singh also expressed concern over the change of names of schemes introduced by his government. He said Rajiv Gandhi Post-Graduate Medical College at Paprola had been renamed as Dindayal Upadhyay College. He said similarly Rajiv Gandhi Kutir Avas Yojna had been named as Atal Bihari Avas Yojna.
