PU campus claim title

Hosts Panjab University campus claimed won the Panjab University Inter-College Badminton (Men) Championship with a 3-2 win over Sri Guru Gobind Singh College,Sector 26,Chandigarh,on Sunday.

Playing a controlled game,Panjab University campus players dominated the proceedings from the beginning before losing their momentum in the later phase of the tie. Earlier in the semi-final stage,Panjab University campus drubbed GGDSD College,Chandigarh, by a margin of 3-0,while in the other semi-final encounter; Sri Guru Gobind Singh College scored a 3-0 win over DAV College,Chandigarh.

In the Panjab University Inter College Badminton (Women) Championship,GN College,Narangwal moved into the final with a 2-0 win over GP College,Narangwal. SIISM College,Chella,ended the challenge of MBBGRGC College,Mansowal with a 2-0 win. Earlier in the league stage,MBBGRG College,Mansowal scored a 2-1 win over DM College,Moga,while SHMS College,Chella,defeated MRBG College,Taprian Khurd 2-1.
