PU students bag CASE awards for community projects

  • The third project — Waste Newspapers: A Source of Sustenance for Slum Children — under the guidance of Prof Mohinderjit K Teja as faculty advisor and community partner Zulfiqar Khan, director, Theatre Age, saw the students combine newspaper recycling and training for enacting plays and theatre activities.

    The project, involving Navjot Sharma, Manisha Sharma, Pooja Rani, Navreet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur and Abhilasha Mathews, was aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse, environmental problems, truancy and other social issues.
