As part of a three-day national integration tour by Students' Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL), a team of 30 students from Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh reached Pune on Sunday. Interacting with them, the city police on Monday assured them that the city is safe and secure for them.

Several incidents of attacks on North-east students were reported at Cantonment police station in August this year.

During the tour, they will stay with local families and visit different places to understand the culture of Pune. Today they visited the Cantonment police station and they said it was very special.
