Punjab to solve senior citizens problems on priority: Sarangal

The Punjab government will solve the problems and demands of senior citizens in the state on priority basis,said Social Security principal secretary T R Sarangal,on Thursday.

Sarangal,who himself is on the verge of attaining superannuation,was hereto release the maiden issue of FEDSEN,a quarterly news letter of the Federation

of Senior Citizens of Punjab,at Community Centre in Phase VII.

He assured to provide all possible help to the cause of senior citizens during service and even after retirement. Nearly 500 senior citizens from different parts of Punjab,as well as Jammu and Kashmir,were present in the function,which showcased a grand cultural presentation by senior citizens.

FEDSEN president Dr AS Khehra complimented the newsletter editor S Chaudhury for giving final shape to it.

Brig Keshav and Maj General Kandal were prominent among those present while DS Grewal proposed the vote of thanks.
