Amid break-up rumours, Pussycat Dolls have decided to take time off from the professional routine, but group member Melody Thornton insists that the girl group is still together.
The pop band's hiatus has sparked speculation of an imminent split, and comes after reports of infighting and discontent among the band mates.
But Thornton assures fans the 'Don't Cha' hitmakers are simply enjoying their "much-needed" separation and will perform together again soon, as reported.
"Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It's actually a much-needed break. It's like when you're with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower," Thornton said.
The break comes just weeks after the Pussycat Dolls were forced to cancel the first dates of their tour with the Black Eyed Peas after lead singer Nicole Scherzinger was diagnosed with an ear infection.
