City-based Tulsi Rubber Products Pvt Ltd has been awarded 'Best Supplier Award' in appreciation of best performance in quality by Kirloskar Oil Engine Ltd Pune.

Atul Kirloskar, CMD of Kirloskar Oil Engine Ltd, presented the award to Pravin Jain (director), TRPL, in Pune.

TRPL was given the award for the products developed by them and for their continuous efforts in meeting quality requirement. In the recent past, the company was also re-certified for ISO/TS 16949 - 2002 certification by Swiss Certification, AG, and Switzerland for continuous improvement in quality.

TRPL, established about three decades ago, has now emerged as Self Certified Source to OEMs as well as leading manufacturing source of Rubber Components to various market segments like automotive, industrial, and institutional & defence market segment.

The company has acquired major contribution in defence segment by developing various functionally and technically critical items for Army, Navy and Air Force like boot combat white high altitude, nuclear biochemical over boot (NBC Boot) and nuclear biochemical suit (NBC Suit) and import substitute items for HAL Nashik and Hyderabad.
