No Army against Maoists: Antony

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Defence Minister A K Antony Monday ruled out using the Army against Maoists, but said they would be dealt with firmly. “The Army is the last resort in internal security measures and the government does not intend to use it against Maoist activities,” Antony said.

Suicide bombers target Lahore

LAHORE: Two suicide bombers blew themselves up after their car was stopped by police on the outskirts of Lahore late Monday evening. At least 15 people were injured, but no one apart from the two bombers died, police said.
