Radhika death: Accused sent to judicial custody

A local court, on Thursday, sent the two accused of providing drugs to Radhika Vashist (21), to judicial custody. Gagandeep and Saurav were arrested on December 18 after Radhika died of an alleged overdose of heroine.

Another friend of Radhika, Sweety made a complaint to the police in which it was alleged that Gagandeep had given Radhika heroine which he had acquired from an Amritsar resident.

Radhika was taken ill after she took drugs as she was already drunk. She was admitted to PGI where she later died. Krishna, the manager of the hotel, Hill View, where Radhika was taken ill was sent to jail on charges of destruction of evidence.
