Rahul for PM in Amethi

While Manmohan Singh has already been declared the Congresss prime ministerial candidate,the party is not shy of playing the PM card in the Nehru-Gandhi family pocketborough of Amethi. Family friend Capt. Satish Sharmas common refrain at five public meetings in Amethi addressed by Rahul Gandhi last Saturday was: Twenty-six years ago,I had come here with Rajivji. He was then party general secretary and within a year he became Prime Minister. Similarly,Rahulji is today general secretary and you yourself know what is going to happen next.
