Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at the famous Sree Krishna temple at nearby Ambalapuzha.

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at the famous Sree Krishna temple at nearby Ambalapuzha.

Rahul,who attended the marriage of his friend Amitabh,who is the son of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation vice-president Suman Dubey,offered prayers along with family members of the bride and bridegroom this morning.

He was clad in traditional Kerala attire of a dhoti and juba and later had a local marriage feast at a private resort,Congress sources said.

The bride,Amulya,is the daughter of Prime Minister’s Additional Secretary R Gopalakrishnan.
