Rahul Gandhi spots accident victim,rushes him to RML

Rahul Gandhi played good Samaritan when he admitted an accident victim to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Central Delhi,police said.

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi played good Samaritan on Tuesday when he admitted an accident victim to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Central Delhi,police said.

The incident was reported around Tuesday afternoon from Krishna Menon Marg in Lutyens’ Delhi when a motorcyclist was hit by a taxi. The victim has been identified as Kale Khan,a contractor with the New Delhi Municipal Council. He suffered injuries and was left bleeding on the road. Gandhi,who was passing by,stopped to check what had happened. “He got out of his car and rushed the victim to RML Hospital,” said a senior police officer.

A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered at the Tughlak Road police station and a hunt is on for the driver. Khan is said to be out of danger.
