Rahul should speak on 2G,CWG if serious about graft: BJP

"Rahul Gandhi usually avoids making comments,especially on the government," BJP said.

BJP today said if Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was really concerned about corruption,he should express his views on anomalies in 2-G Spectrum,Commonwealth Games projects and Indian black money in Swiss banks.

BJP would like to ask him why he is silent on issues like the 1.76 lakh crore 2G spectrum scam,the loot of public money in conduct of Commonwealth Games and crores of Indian money stashed in the Swiss bank accounts,” party spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said.

The BJP would be happy if Gandhi spoke on these issues too,Rudy said.

Gandhi,who is on a visit to Maharashtra,today said in Aurangabad that he was concerned about corruption and price rise.

“Food inflation in the country is hovering around 15 to 17 per cent while the overall inflation is around 9 per cent. The nation would be happy to know the response of the Congress leader on these issues which concern the common man,” Rudy said.
