As many as 35 persons lost their lives due to heavy rains in various parts of Madhya Pradesh during the last three days, officials said in Bhopal on Friday.
The maximum damage was caused in Indore district where 20 people lost their lives due to rain, they said.
Six persons died on Wednesday, while 14 lost their lives on Thursday, they said.
Rains claimed five lives in Chhindwara district, three in Narsinghpur district, six in Sagar district and one in Mandsaur district. A total of 6,600 persons across the state have been housed in various relief camps, the sources said.
