“I was affected when I realised that some people were working against me during the elections,” said Parulkar, who won over one lakh votes from Mumbai South Central. “After the elections, it became clear the MNS candidates had helped the Congress-NCP. The aim of working for Maharashtrians was not met.”
Parulkar says that despite heading an important party wing, she was not taken into confidence when the decision to dissolve it was taken. “There are many things that I came to know from the media. There was no discussion in meetings. Despite being the president, I was not consulted when the decision was taken.”
