Mumbai Indians medium-pacer Rohan Raje was in seventh heaven after this evening’s net session, and it was a pat on the back from Sachin Tendulkar that made his day. The batting genius was quite impressed with the skill displayed by the young seamer.
Tendulkar, who is recovering from a groin injury, finally had a good practice session at the MCA-BKC ground. Smashing the net bowlers at will, the master blaster was troubled a bit only by Raje. A couple of deliveries beat the blade.
“He was very impressed when I bowled him my slower delivery and he advised me to use it as my secret weapon,” said Raje, the son of a motorman, who put up a decent show in Mumbai’s win over Delhi.
