BJP President Rajnath Singh slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati for failing to “reign in” the criminals and anti-social forces and said the law and order situation in the state was at its “worst”.
Singh said the people wanted to get rid of the “goondagardi” of Samajwadi Party workers and had chosen Mayawati,who had promised to provide safety and security to them,”but she completely failed to do so.”
“Under BSP rule,people are being subjected to the atrocities and torture of all sorts and want them to stop,” Singh said addressing an election rally at Aliganj under Farukkhabad constituency.
Attacking the UPA Government at the Centre,Singh said because of its “soft policies” the menace of terrorism was “growing every day”.
“BJP is committed to eliminate terrorism from the country. We would also weed out the threat posed by the Taliban with the help of the Pakistan Government,” he said.
Singh claimed the people of the country were “grieving” under the spiral inflation,weak national security and corruption and wanted a stable and strong government under the BJP.
