Ramdev invites Army Chief to join his campaign

Ramdev also said Gen Singh should 'de-stress by taking yoga tips' from him.

Yoga guru Ramdev today invited Army Chief General V K Singh to join his “campaign against black money” after his retirement. Stating that “General Singh must be facing a lot of stress after having raised issues of corruption”,Ramdev also said he should “de-stress by taking yoga tips” from him.

Claiming to have known General Singh for several years,Ramdev said there was an urgent need for people to join the war against graft.

Ramdev roped in Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Labour Minister Janardhan Singh Sigriwal to endorse his Ayurvedic products at the Patna launch today. Modi said the country was “indebted to Baba for taking yoga to every household”. Sigriwal added that “we will be there to help Baba Ramdev in all possible manner”.

Taking on the Congress,Ramdev said the Nehru-Gandhi family should drop the Gandhi surname,which should be kept only for Mahatma Gandhi’s family members.

He also claimed that RJD chief Lalu Prasad had apologised to him for some uncharitable remarks made in the past.
