    Rajkot: RP Singh (4/83) and Shalabh Srivastava (4/75) claimed four wickets each to help Uttar Pradesh take a 128-run lead against Saurashtra. Resuming on 125 for 3, Shitanshu Kotak (75) and Pratik Mehta (69) kept the scoreboard ticking, before UP struck to bowl them out for 267. In their second innings, UP lost three wickets before Shivakant Shukla and Parvinder Singh saw them to stumps.

    Chandigarh: Resuming on 59/3, Vishwas Bhalla’s century on debut lead the way for Punjab. Bhalla was in good touch in Chandigarh against Hyderabad, smashing twelve boundaries to take the lead past 300. Overnight batsman Pankaj Dharmani gave him good support with 50 while Lov Ablish played a cameo role for the last wicket stance.
