‘Stress-free’ homes is the new buzzword in the $12-bn Indian real estate market. Busting stress with a spa, a swimming pool, a party room, a sports room and a gym at home could be your next fancy.
Sparking a trend, several builders are already planning stress-busting homes for those who find the metro lifestyle more than just a stress. Pune-based Sahil Group is investing Rs 400 crore for setting up stress-free homes apart from resorts and spas in Alibaug, Pune, and Navi Mumbai.
Group chairman Vinay Phadnis said, “In Balewadi, Pune, we are planning to set up six stress-free residential buildings with each apartment measuring 1,500 sq ft. Besides, in a franchisee arrangement with Radisson Group of Hotels, we are planning to set up a five-star Radisson Resorts & Spa in Alibaug with 150 rooms spread across 22 acres. Sahil Group is planning to set up stress-free residential projects and high-end bungalows over the next six months in Alibaug over an area of 10 acres.”
Pune-based Marvel Realtors has already started setting up high-end residential buildings with a spa and a swimming pool in each apartment.
Meanwhile, Hiranandani Constructions is setting up a township in Alibaug with stress-free homes. Peninsula Land from the Piramal Group, too, is evaluating plans to set up such homes in Mumbai, Pune and Alibaug in the near future. Not just them, Akruti City, too, is planning to set up stress-free homes in Mumbai between Walkeshwar and Dadar. Hemant Shah, chairman, Akruti City, said, “We are already in possession of land at Hindustan Mills at Prabhadevi apart from at Worli, among others. Stress-free homes is an emerging concept which we are discussing and would take at least two to three years fructify.”
