Reason why Kajol was left out of Yash Chopra grand tribute

The director’s wife Pamela Chopra organised a special fashion show featuring all Yash Chopra’s leading ladies – Rekha,Sridevi,Madhuri Dixit,Rani Mukherji,Juhi Chawla,Preity Zinta,Katrina Kaif,Anushka Sharma and Parineeti Chopra who walked the ramp. They were also joined by Shah Rukh Khan who had collaborated with Yash Chopra in his last four movies.

However,Kajol who was a YRF favourite once upon a time was left out. Even though Parineeti had never been directed by Yash Chopra,she was invited to join his leading ladies as a replacement for Kajol.

Buzz is that Kajol was left out of the grand affair owning to the ongoing rift between her husband Ajay Devgn and Yash Raj Films.

In 2012,Ajay had filed a complaint against YRF for blocking screens in 2012 during the release of Yash Chopra’s last directorial ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ which eventually affected Ajay’s film ‘Son of Sardar’.

The case is still going on and Ajay is still awaiting judgment.

Kajol had been conveniently left out of the grand premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ as well which saw the whole of Tinsel town.
