Red Ribbon Express to reach state on Monday
The monthlong Maharashtra leg of the Red Ribbon Express,which was flagged off from Delhi last year,will begin on Monday with the train painted yellow and red chugging into Amalner station in Jalgaon.

An awareness and training campaign of the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) and Indian Railways,the train will visit 160 railway stations across the country for a year to take the HIV/AIDS awareness message home.
The seven-coach train will halt in Mumbai for four days from January 20. It will also pass through all the high-risk districts of the state.
The State AIDS Control Society on Friday launched four mobile integrated counselling and testing centres (ICTCs). The mobile vans,which will accompany the train,will be equipped to conduct tests and give reports of three persons in an hour.
The first three coaches of the train will comprise an exhibition room with computer touchscreens,small films and TV screens providing information on HIV/AIDS transmission,prevention and awareness. The next two coaches will have counselling and training facilities,where batches of 30-40 anganwadi workers,police officers and panchayat officials will be trained in sessions at each stop. The sixth coach is for folk groups and performing artistes.
