Redington promoters sell 13.5pc stake

The promoters of computer peripheral maker Redington India told sold about 13.47 percent stake for Rs 376.46 crore in an open market deal.

The promoters of computer peripheral maker Redington India told sold about 13.47 percent stake for Rs 376.46 crore in an open market deal.

As per the bulk deal data available with the Bombay Stock Exchange,Redington’s promoters Redington Mauritius offloaded 1.06 crore shares,representing a 13.47 percent stake. It sold the shares at a price of Rs 355.16 per share,aggregating Rs 376.46 crore.

As per the BSE data,some big fund houses including Morgan Stanley,IDFC,Blackstone and Goldman Sachs picked some stake in the company.

At the end of March quarter,Redington Mauritius held a 43.11 percent stake in Redington India.

Shares of Redington India today declined 5.08 percent to close at Rs 360.25 on the BSE.
