Residents of Hargobind Nagar today protested against no water supply in the area. The residents staged a protest against the area councillor Rupamdeep Malhi that not a drop of water was coming in their area even if the tullu pumps are used.
It needs to be mentioned that the residents of Joshi Nagar had also staged a protest against no water supply in the area.
MC authorities however mentioned late in the evening that due to power cuts, the electric motors in the tubewells were developing faults and hence the area residents were facing water scarcity.
In Joshi Nagar, the fault has been repaired, they claimed. However no status was given about Hargobind Nagar problem.
