  • When the capital was agog with political activity, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad was missing from action. His priorities clearly lay elsewhere. On the day of Chitragupta Puja, a festival for the kayastha community, Prasad attended at least a dozen functions in Patna, where he has been eyeing a Lok Sabha nomination. Incidentally, kayasthas form a major chunk of voters in Patna and Prasad obviously did not want to miss out on a great opportunity.
