Road to railway station to be blocked

Acting on a request received by the UT Administration, the Chandigarh Traffic Police has decided to block the road leading from the Railway Station light point at Madhya Marg extension to the Railway Station for maintenance from November 17 to November 30. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Kamal Deep said they would make diversions on the road for the convenience of the residents. "We will make one side of the road functional so that the traffic is not entirely blocked but these decisions will be discussed at a meeting with the Chandigarh administration tomorrow," he said.
