Gurkirat Singh was the top scorer for Mohali playing a fluent knock of 81 runs while Mayank Sidana contributed 57 runs. Simranjeet Singh was the other main scorer playing a knock of 34 runs. For Kapurthala,Arjun claimed four wickets for 47 runs while Purneet Pandher claimed three wickets for 61 runs. Kapurthala ended the day at 196 for 4 in 54 overs. Gauravjit Singh was the tops corer for Kapurthala in their second innings as he played an innings of 47 runs. For Mohali,Harpreet Chatha claimed three wickets for 35 runs.

Riding high on a superb century by Manish Bhatia,hosts Amritsar defeated Patiala on the basis of first innings lead in a match played at Gandhi Grounds on Wednesday. After Patiala posted a total of 359 in their first innings,Amritsar replied back strongly posting a huge score of 424 for 9 in 94.1 overs in their first innings. Manish Bhatia was the star of the day for Amritsar as he played a fluent knock of 118 runs consisting of 21 boundaries. Sharad Lumba was the other main scorer for his team as he contributed 71 runs while Chandan Madan made 68 runs. For Patiala,Sarabjit Ladda claimed five wickets for 121 runs while Ravi Inder claimed two wickets for 22 runs. In another match played at Ludhiana,hosts Ludhiana defeated Bathinda by nine wickets.
