The 5th Jack Daniel Annual Rock Awards for 2009-10 kicked off in the capital with a tribute to Led Zeppelin, by Delhi’s rock musicians at the Hard Rock Café. The concert, which featured some of Delhi’s most popular musicians and singers, had DJ and actor Luke Kenny as the host for the evening. The performances included the ever-popular Led Zeppelin hits like Friends, Kashmir, Black dog, Stairway to heaven, 4 sticks and Communication breakdown by artists like Rajiv Khati of Decibel, Prithwish Dev of Them Clones and by Ashhar Farooqui of Envision/Teddy Boy Kill. The winners of the award, though, will only be declared on February 05, 2010 at a gala event at Mumbai’s Hard Rock Café, giving the jury and the online voters enough time to deliberate over their choice.
