Two days after the BJP leadership expelled veteran leader Jaswant Singh for his views on Jinnah, RSS chief Mohan Rao Bhagwat on Friday said M A Jinnah was neither secular nor did he support the ideals of secularism.

Dissociating the RSS from the BJP decision and developments in the party over the issue, Bhagwat said the 'episode' purely concerns that party and it was their internal matter.

“It is an open chapter in history. Jinnah was the first man to lead the agitation towards creation of Pakistan because he saw Hindus separate from Muslims, a concept that was never in the minds of veteran leaders of the country. I don’t think that is secularism,” the RSS chief, who arrived here on a four-day visit said.

Even as he declined to comment on Singh’s expulsion, Bhagwat reacted to Singh’s comment on ‘matter of convenience and opportunism.’ Bhagwat responding to a query said that the RSS had brought young leadership to the forefront. “It is time for the BJP to have young leadership in line with public aspirations. Yeh prakriti ka niyam hai tarun netritva hona hi chahiye (it is the law of nature, time is ripe for young leadership to come to the forefront),” Bhagwat said.

However, he declined to comment as to why Advani’s similar remarks did not warrant similar action as faced by Jaswant Singh. “Ask the BJP. The RSS cannot comment on their internal matters. They are a separate organisation and it is for them to see what action is to be taken against whom and when,” the RSS chief said, observing in a lighter vein “Sabki apni apni dukaney hain aur kaun kaise sabko milakar chalega, yeh unka kaam hai”.

First understand what RSS isBy: Gaurav | 24-Aug-2009 Reply | Forward You guys here doing conversation about RSS.How many of you know what RSS is and work he did. First of all RSS is not against any muslim. RSS always said this if you been part of Bharat then there must be one rule for every citizen.One more issue raised here is Killing of Gandhi. I think u doesnt know the fact. RSS dosnt Killed Gandhi ji and You talked about dalit. RSS is the only organisation which cares for every human being whether its dalit jat bhraman, shudra and member of any other communities. Leadership of RSS doesnt depends on caste. It depends on person work and his contribution towards his country and to his organisation. So give you one simple answer for all of your question if you want to understand RSS first try to be part of it and if you cannot do that then dont comment it.

This was confirmed even by the Supreme Court some time back. The fact is that the RSS leaders did not know about the plot being hatched by Godse and others. You can blame RSS for this lapse of not knowing about the plot before hand, but to blame the entire RSS for that is just blind hatred towards Hindus.

So you decide who is young or who is old.In RSS sur Sanghchalk post is like president of India. This is respectable position nothing to do with political party or PM position. This position is achieved only after someone work hard in organisation for many years. This position given who can guide organisation and who can be fair and free of any kind self interest or biased to any worker.This is not position it is respect given to someone who is most senior in organisation and capable to lead organisation and all past sursanghchalk taken self retirement. Donot involve RSS in middle of BJP fighting.

If the post is to be held by men beyond doubt as regards credibility, then LKA is out by a mile in a 100M race! RSS should step in now, in time, i.e. and twist BJP's arms for good. LKA and ABV were the worst spots on the Indian political scenes.

How old is he? Does he consider most of the senior leaders in BJP are old? If all of them leave in the backstage, can really the leftover young people deliver results? If this is the idea then we are going back to 1970s, when there was no opposition to Congress. We need to have a strong opposition in our democracy. It is better for BJP to stop infighting and get united and work in the interest of country. Forget about old and young. Leadership will emerge on its own.

After Gandhiji death there was ban on RSS and no one in parliament to raise voice in favor of RSS and that was reason RSS send few workers to start a political party who can speak for RSS in parliament. Now organisaton Grow such a big who ruled this country in name of BJP. So where is RSS fault. RSS give its worker to BJP to look for Builing strong BJP. Second where is written in constitue that member of RSS cannot vote or join politics. If some of workers have ambition to join politics and work in politics how RSS can stop them. Second Ramkrishan mission if they doing something it is good. RSS have never problem with Ramkrishan mission. Hindu culture or philosophy is not limited to Ramkrishan mission. There are many thousands organisation work in india as NGO and they are hindu. RSS is work for total not for one limited thinking or philosophy.
