Rupee Co-op Football: Black Hawks, Samford in pre-quarters

    Samford scored tiebreak win against Sunny Days while Black Hawks scored an easy 2-1 win over Predators to enter the pre-quarter round in the Second-Third Division of the Rupee Cup Football Tournament organized by the Keshav – Madhav Pratisthan and KP XI and sponsored by the Sanjay Kakade Group being played at the S.P College Grounds here today.

    Tuesday’s first division matches were cancelled because of excessive rainfall. Scheduled Matches of Wednesday and Thursday have also been called off, informed by Pyarelal Chaudari, tournament organizer and Vice-President, Pune District Football Association.

Siddharth Bhalerao, Richard Anthony, Lavali Singh) bt in tie breaker Sunny Days: 3 (Vikas Sen, Mahesh Ram, Jasbindar Singh); Missed goal- Samford- Rahul Mohite and Sunny Days- Madan Pillay, Nanu Sen; MOM- Vikas Sen.
