An uncle of Union Minister Sachin Pilot was shot at allegedly by two unidentified persons at his farm house in Nizampur village today, police said.
Ashok Kasana, the 65-year-old maternal uncle of Pilot, was sleeping at the house when the assailants opened fired at him this morning at the village, around 50 km from here, Circle Officer (Hapur town) Pawan Yadav said.
Kasana was admitted to a hospital in Ghaziabad, he said.
A case has been registered against the unidentified attackers, Yadav said, adding that efforts are on to trace them.
