Pragya Singh Thakur, the sadhvi arrested in connection with Malegaon bomb blasts, will undergo polygraph, brain mapping and narco tests, a government lawyer said on Monday.

A local court gave the Anti-Terrorist Squad permission for the tests while remanding her and two others to police custody till November 3, Public Prosecutor Ajay Misar told reporters in Nashik.

An application was moved by the ATS before Joint Civil Judge Senior Division A N Khadse to grant permission for polygraphy, brain mapping and narco tests on 38-year-old Pragya, he said, adding that the tests were part of the investigation.

He said that he had no idea about possibility of the two retired army officers, questioned for their role in the blasts, being produced before the court in Nashik.

"I have not received any intimation from the authorities concerned," he said. He did not reveal when Pragya will undergo polygraph, brain mapping and narco tests.

TerrorismBy: Sanjeev Kumar Gupta | 30-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward The BJP party is the only party which has is a nationalalistic view point. The congress party can divide the country to get the votes. The congrees is a pro muslim party ,. they want the hindus to be divided so that they can rule. Our english press is pro minorities and is always against hindus. The press and the politicians are criticising Hindus for one incident ,which presently we dont know whether it is true or not They have remained quiet on incidents of terrorism carried out by Muslims in particular. They have criticised Gujarat govt for some activities carried out by people as arevenge for killings of people in atrain but they remain quiet on incidents of terrorism in kashmir.
Terrorism is beyond religionBy: Jayadevan | 30-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward The VHP, Bajrang Dal and their Muslim Counterparts are two sides of the same coin. This coin buys only hatred, death and destruction of all human values. They "protect" us by killing innocent people. They spread hatred, poison the minds of children, and create a divide between us which is very difficult to bridge. Some of the untruths have turned to truth by mere repetition. For instance, the famous sentence " All Muslims are not terrorists, But all terrorists are Muslims" is accepted as true by almost all people. The IRA was Roman Catholic, The Irgun was Jewish, the PFLP which became a synonym for terrorism had George Habash, a Christian as leader, the Red Army was Communist, there are pure-bred American terrorists like Timothy Mcveigh who blow up babies and bomb abortion clinics.. the list goes on. But we keep on parroting the line and feel smart. Islam and Hinduism are in danger, they say. Hindus and Muslims are in danger..from these false prophets and unthinking idiots like us.
Let us have ONE lawBy: Rags | 28-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward OK, let us have one law. Can UPA government show the same interest and catch all those suspected culprits who are at this same level or above? If it does, then India has to borrow jails from Pakistan, srilanka, nepal, etc. to accomodate so many. UPA can never dare to do this, because they are interested in 15 crores votes. And the fate of this country is that we do average 50% voting. Remedy is very simple and it is in front of our eyes. Just go and vote, let it be 100%. I want to understand one thing from Congress, what it has done to remove the caste system, what is has done to give basic education, what is has done to give basic food for people? Does it require 60 Years???? If it has helped in only minorities, why minority people are becoming terrorists? Why so many people are getting converted to Christians just for few thousands. Funny thing is we say politics is dirty, politicians are dirty, but remember all our money, effort, future is in the hands of Politicians.

Narco Tests.....By: G. F. G. Sekhar | 28-Oct-2008 Reply | Forward I thought that law and judiciary is dead in India. But great to see that it is still alive. It is a bold move by the police to put the sadhvi!! to narco analysis. Let the truth come out. Terrorism has no religion. Whether it is done by a Sadhu, Maulvi, Monk, Priest or a nun - there is no excuse. Let us not blame the Congress Party for this. Did the Congress party ask her to do this? Let us fair. What you sow is what you reap BJP? Let us not only stop the narco test just with the sadhvi..... put all these to narco test......Biju Patnaik, LK Advani, Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Ashok SInghal, Praveen Togadia, Mayavati, Sonia, Raj, Bal, Lalu, Mulayam, Prakash Karat, Jayalalitha, Karunanidhi, MM Singh and all the Indian politicians and save India!!!!
