Sales manager too killed by truck,wife and son survive

A 32-year-old man died and his wife and child received injuries after the bike they were on was hit by a speeding truck in Adarsh Nagar area of Northwest Delhi on Tuesday,police said.

Deepak,a sales manager died,while his wife received injuries and was discharged after treatment. They have an eight-year-old son,officials said. The truck driver has been arrested.

“The couple was returning home around 10 pm. When the bike stopped at a traffic signal,the speeding truck hit it from behind,” police said.

Deepak was taken to Babu Jagjeevan Ram Hospital,where he was declared dead on arrival.

A case has been registered against the truck driver.
