Now who would have thought that Bollywood’s famous bad boy is also a friend in need?

Now who would have thought that Bollywood’s famous bad boy is also a friend in need? But actor Salman Khan never ceases to surprise — he made a fleeting visit to Delhi on Wednesday to launch gold coins for his NGO, Being Human. “If my celebrity status can help a cause, then I am all for it,” he said. Khan will be in the capital again next month to walk the ramp for Sanjana Jon, sister of the convicted fashion designer Anand Jon. Sanjana will showcase her collection at the Wills India Fashion Week in October. The controversy might have scared other actors, but not Sallu. “Sanjana is a friend and she has suffered a lot during her brother’s trial. Now that she is in need of money and is starting her career all over again, I won’t disappoint her. I had a word with Anand and never thought he was a bad guy,” said Khan.

Does his benevolent mood have something to do with the mediocre success of his latest film Wanted? All he’ll say is that “It was great news for me that the audience loves the film”. He’s keeping his fingers crossed for his October 16 release Main Aur Mrs Khanna with Kareena Kapoor, which Khan claims is a heartwarming story about the ‘aam aadmi’. Now if only the regular guy gives it a thumbs up.

HOGWASH REPORTINGBy: Sarifa Patel | 25-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward I gather that Suanshu Khurana is the reporter of the above article Are you some kind of an idiot who displays your dislike for people in your reporting - all my friends from Mumbai who have seen the film talks about Salman's performance as being his best (all of his performances are the best because there is none like Salman) Obviously this reporter knows nothing about whether a film is a hit or not and to write such rubbish is probably in total relation to the individual - I agree with Avi Salman is a SUPER STAR TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT - He is a star not only on screen but in real life no one can match him -
Amateur reportingBy: rony_bangladesh | 25-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward the writer who writes mediocre I think he is an amateurpoor stuff, poor report....fame fuming with flames.....Slaman's fame blazes inside his fans and ashes his antagonists......hope you understand mr. reporter..see reviews.....BEst of luck for the future reports.....may god give u good ideologies to see how people cheered for WANTED
SuperstarBy: Avi | 25-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward The writer seems to not like Salman. Wanted is a huge box office hit all over the country and yet the writer says its a mediocre hit? Just walk into a single screen theatre and look at the applause Salman gets!Salman is a super star, you have to live with it.
Anand JONBy: desh | 25-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward i appreciate this move of Salmaan , at last he become vocal that Anand jon is innocent,i hope Anand will get bak to india very soon . and praying for the success of his sister too.....by d way this reporter is no doubt a cheap reporter who is some how jealous of Salmaaans stardom....
