SP general secretary Amar Singh, who was also present at the meet, hit out at the Third Front leaders for joining hands with BSP chief Mayawati.

“The Left, the Congress and Mulayam never had a truck with the BJP,which is communal in character. But,she (Mayawati) did it three times,” Singh said. Naming Chandrababu Naidu and HD Deve Gowda,Singh said they had once been part of the BJP-led NDA and now they claimed to be secular.
