International Namdhari Sangat president Navtej Singh Namdhari said, "Satguru Jagjit Singh and Satguru Partap Singh had announced that none other than Thakur Dilip Singh will be their successor and those of us who were working with them as sewaks know this. More than 95 per cent of the sangat has accepted Thakur Dilip as Satguru's successor and the rest are employees of Bhaini Sahib who have certain compulsions." Added chairman of International Namdhari Sangat Jaswinder Singh, "Uday Singh is a business man. How can he a be a Satguru?"
