  • Florists were not the only ones doing brisk business on Valentine’s Day. A set of stamps featuring four roses and smelling of the flowers turned out to be a huge hit with people on Valentine’s Day.

The set featuring four kinds of roses—Bhim, Delhi Princess, Jawahar and Neelam—is priced at Rs 40.

“There was a long queue of young people all day,” said Neelam Verma, postal assistant at Parliament Street Head Post Office, said. Around 23,000 stamps were sold in the the day.

Officials said the ink for the stamps was imported from the US.
