President Rtn SP Karkara announced that two scholarships of Rs 2500 each would be given to meritorious students upto graduation level. Rtn Suresh Chaudhary offered help on behalf of the Pushpawati Loomba Trust for five meritorious children of widows by providing Rs 500 per month for a period of 5 years.
Rtn V K Anand, a senior executive of the Malwa Cotton Group of Industries, offered free education in the VSO Institute of Information Technology to students desiring to pursue a career in information technology after passing the 10+2 examination. The principal of the school thanked the club for its help and encouragement to promising students.
