  • That is not all. The district police have asked the Centre for expert handlers who will train the dogs. Kumar said: “We have had only two tracker dogs so far. And, one of them is dead. It is necessary, therefore, that we get the trainers.”

    If the Centre relents, the district police might also get three sweepers to keep the kennels super clean, and also a closed vehicle for the dogs to ride on.
