  • Riteish Deshmukh repaints a wall that had been defaced by posters of his film Aladin. He and actress Jacqueline took up the effort after the original painters, 100 youngsters who had drawn murals on walls from Mahim to Lower Parel, blogged about the posters. The day after the murals had come up, posters of Aladin, London Dreams, Gair and Canvas took over the walls, sparking a flood of complaints on Twitter and Facebook. Deshmukh and Aladin director Sujoy Ghosh both posted apologies, and the former on Thursday carried out the latter’s promise to get the posters removed. London Dreams producer Vipul Shah has also promised to do whatever is necessary to restore the walls.
