Seven people died and 30 others were injured when a passenger van overturned near Dharampur in Valsad district on Monday afternoon.
The injured were rushed to the nearby hospitals.
All the victims belong to Mohana Gavachadi village in Dharampur taluka, said the local police.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the driver of the van lost control over the steering while taking a turn in the hilly area, as a result of which the vehicle fell into a ditch at Gamachadi village.
The deceased were identified as Roopji Rathod (50), Mahesh Rathod (25), Rashmi Rathod (16), Shanta Rathod (18), Jayesh Rathod (22), Bablu Rathod (40) and Sajviben Gunoniya (45).
