Shahid promotes his veggie ways for PETA

After Rakhi Sawant and Celina Jaitley,PETA roped in Kapoor for their latest ad to promote vegetarianism.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is promoting vegetarianism in his new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Shahid,who shot with ace photographer Atul Kasbekar,is seen casually dressed with two downy yellow chicks perched on his body,in the advertisement. “I love chicks…pigs,cows,fish,and all the other animals too. Thats why I turned vegetarian,” the ‘Kaminey’ star,said.

The 30-year-old actor has also won PETA India’s Sexiest Vegetarian contest in 2009. “I am very happy being a vegetarian and I believe that it is the best way to be. The day I started believing in the fact that I would want not to kill animals for my taste buds that is the day everything changed for me,” Shahid said.

Shahid joins the list of Bollywood stars including Arjun Rampal,Raveena Tandon,Rahul Khanna,Celina Jaitley,John Abraham,Lara Dutta and others who have joined hands with PETA.
