Shares of Excel Crop Care and Coromandel International surged over 13 percent and 4 percent,respectively,on television reports the Supreme Court has allowed export of endosulfan,two dealers said. Excel Crop Care is the largest listed producer of the commonly used pesticide in Indian farms. The apex court in May had banned manufacturing and sales of endosulfan,pending receipt of a report from the expert committee constituted by the federal government about the product. At 2:00 p.m.,Excel Crop Care was up 9.12 percent at 172.7 rupees and Coromandel International 0.13 percent at 308 rupees.
