Shibu Soren resigns from assembly seat,retains LS seat

JMM president Shibu Soren resigned from Jamtara assembly seat,which he had won in a bypoll,to retain his Dumka Lok Sabha seat.

JMM president Shibu Soren resigned from Jamtara assembly seat,which he had won in a bypoll,to retain his Dumka Lok Sabha seat. JMM’s organisational secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya handed over Soren’s resignation letter to the assembly secretary.

BJP MLAs Arjun Munda,P N Singh and Karia Munda and independent MLAs Inder Singh Namdhari and Madhu Koda have already resigned from the membership of the House after winning Lok Sabha elections. With this,the strength of 82-member house has been reduced to 74.
