Shimla’s oldest medical practitioner is no more

Dr Satya Sachdeva,92,one of the oldest private medical practitioners in Shimla,passed away on Tuesday morning after a brief illness. She had remained active in the medical profession till 2000. Dr Sachdeva is survived by two sons — one of them Dr Pran Sacheva is a noted medical practitioner in Shimla — and their families. Members of Shimla Private Practitioners’ Association have mourned her death. The last rites will be performed at the Kanlog Crematoria on May 26.
