The state government will discuss the issue of environmental clearance for the proposed Shivaji memorial in the Arabian Sea with Union Environment Minister Jayanthi Natarajan during her visit here in April, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan informed the Legislative Council while replying to a query during the question hour on Wednesday. The process to set up a project management consultant has also begun, he said. A new site with 16.5 hectares area for the memorial has been proposed, he said.
