A SIMI activist, Basher, who was nabbed in Uttar Pradesh last month in connection with the Ahmedabad serial blasts, is allegedly also involved in the terror strike in Lumbini Park in Hyderabad last year.

According to police, Basher, who had worked as a teacher in a Hyderabad-based madrassa for almost two years from 2005, had stated during his interrogation that he had stayed with Tauqeer in a house in Zakir Nagar in New Delhi in July.

Tauqeer has been named by the Gujarat police as being one of the masterminds behind the Ahmedabad terror strike.

He is also accused of having sent the threatening emails for terror group Indian Mujahideen from Mumbai.

Washington Post yesterday reported a story. Henry Paulson visited New York to give an ultimatum to Wall Street - no more government support. His plan was to return next day and hence carried only one extra set of clothing. The enormity of situation necessitated extended stay of 6 days and the guy was pressing the same clothes every day. During this period he managed to ensure marriage of Merryl Lynch to BOA. Told Lehman bluntly to find out a suitor or ship out. Paulson was a partner of Goldman Sach. Washington is not too far from NY. and NY itself has plenty of garment shops. Our Shivraj Patil changed dress (with matching shoes) 3 times in 3 hours. Of course, Paulson has to do everythingwithout the lights of camera. For Shivraj, camera was a must.
